true vintage late 1940’s - early 1950's Maya de Mexico black 3D cherry blossom branches full circle skirt dress

this has been one of my favorite dresses in my wardrobe for the past 15+ years so rather than giving someone the opportunity to say “she’s wearing that dress AGAIN!” I figured (very reluctantly) it was time to pass her on to someone else to enjoy.

plus, while she’s in my closet I will continue to ignore all of her beautiful sisters. you know when you have that one dress that’s so easy to wear and always makes you feel like a million bucks so you keep bypassing everything else in your closet and reach for her? well, she’s been that dress to me.  the good news is, she was deadstock when I got her and I took really good care of her.

labeled a vintage size 16 but I had her taken-in so that she could easily be let out again without damage (as I do all of my personal items). first number is where she's at now and second number is where she could be let out easily (possibly a bit more with original seam allowance)
